Weapons
I have been having problems with bad line twist using weapon harnesses, I have ball bearing snaps and a barrel swivel, what else can I do to solve the problem?
Suggestions would be appreciated. It happens with mono and braid.
Thanks Dennis

One thing to try is to stop the line with your finger/reel before it hits water. That helps some but I still have same problem. So aggravating I went back to throwing Parish weight forward lures. Seem to work as good for me (catch as many as guy next to me throwing weapons) and no tangle problems.

What size/type blades are you using, how long is your weapon tip to tip. How fast are you retrieving the weapon (most likely your problem). Is your egg sinker held into the loop by a small bead? Lots of beginners using them on charters and no problems. Depending on your reel, you can not crank/retrieve very fast or you spin out the blade.
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.
