How about Fishkiller, is he done? Maybe Greenhead has got something how about it ? I still have not gotten out, maybe this weekend.
Not yet. A lot of small pass ups and does. Hard to stick the little buck when your staring at the big ones out of range. I just wanna use my muzzleloader. Lol

Even during shotgun , it's all I've used since I bought it. My poor 20ga slug gun just sits in its case.

I have not been out yet Floyd. My brothers battle with cancer came to head early this month and he passed last wknd. I can focus now and have off from the 28th thru 11/17. I take this time every yr and chomping at the bit a little. I hear ya you on the mzzldr, I use my smokeless all the time. Good Luck to you and all!

PS: Bass Pro accepted my return of the Elite 7 and upgraded to HDS 7

I've got a couple smoke poles but very rarely will i carry one during the gun season. I love using them but there was one time i had only a behind the ear shot @ roughly 60 yds. I should've connected but it didn't quite reach mark.the buck lunged foreword and ran to a clearing and stood there shaking his head. After tracking blood i had i knew it was just a nick ..the proof came the following season same spot when i put a 151 scored on the wall with ear on same side i shot at with some nifty design from gun shot. Since then the shotguns get used during main season. A second shot would've sealed the deal. Oh yeah another reason i am sure it's the same animal was an odd hoof print when missed and same print and hoof when killed following yr.

I do the same, although last year I started using a single shot 20 ga. on the wet days. My "870's" stay on the wall.

My slug gun is a 20 ga mossberg. 500 special hunter. Black synthetic stock parkerized barrel and tube black reciever. Black bolt. (It's such a black gun it shoulda been banned in safe act by looks) lmao. 24inch ported fully rifled barrel. Adjustable rifle sights see through scope mounts, and a 3x9x40 scope. I should use it a lot more than I do. But my muzzleloader is so much more rifle like

I have one of these also, brand NIB never fired & extra barrel with screw in chokes. Just the gun no scope.

Now I just use my .30-06.....lol before we had the use of rifles I would only use my Savage ML10II smokeless muzzle loader its the best muzzle loader in my opinion.
