    Default Riggers and Harnesses

    Little help here......

When fishing harnesses off the riggers.....

How far back? Can you run a harness "too far" back?

If I ran a harness 175' back, and 40 down, what would be the true depth of the harness....... Do they run higher than the cannonball, or lower than?

Does anyone fish flatfish type baits off the riggers(or leadcore) with crawlers on a hook?

Yes sir lineman49 it tore the fender up a bit and luckily didn't damage sny air or hydraulic lines And I was only doing 45 or mph when it let loose plus truck was empty. It's a Hella bang when a super single let's loose lol. I'll be out Sunday to get my share out of the lake.

Did the bang wake you up? lol I have a friend that blew a 14" on his boat trailer on the thruway at 70mph. It ripped the fender , the tail light & the wiring off the trailer & scuffed up his boat a bit. Not fun.

Yeah they always do when they blow , the closet way to explain the sensation and sound is stand next a top fuel dragster on warm up and it's about the same lol.
