Has Anyone ever try getting emeralds under the bridge that goes over the Union ship canal ? A friend told me that's where he gets his. I have never tried it there, it might be worth a look/try.

There weren't many by the docks. They were all along shore from the jet ski dock all the way down to the discharge pipe. They heaviest concentration and bigger minnows were at the pipe. Nothing was passed the pipe so it was a temperature thing. There were zero minnows at Ontario launch. Lineman I've never tried for minnows at the ship canal, but we've gotten into the jack perch there before

Steelhead fished at the Catt yesterday and the schools of emeralds in the catt were unreal....... absolutely unreal. I saw one area where they got trapped in a pool by receding water, and there were thousands dead in a 5' x 15' area...... never saw them like that before.
