Hoping to fish next Thursday and Friday, coming from Chicago, and do not want to head out without support since this will be my first time on my own. Have fished twice with Mike P ice charters, he makes it easy and runs a great services. I have ice fished for over 30 yrs icefishing but mainly smaller lakes Northern IL, WI. If I can not hook up with someone I probably will delay this trip and with it being the beginning of March and my work schedule I doubt I'll make it out for this ice season, better safe than sorry. Will pull 2 man shanty with 4 wheeler, rope, spud, heater and GPS, Navionics on phone with battery back-up. Have an idea of where to go and what to watch out for, heaves and shallows but little experience on Erie Ice.

All my equipment is in great shape, 4wheeler, auger, phone and shanty.

Would like to follow someone else out and back and then coordinate locating fish, spread out.

Anyone interested in helping?
