Sturgeon Point 7/15/08

Left Sturgeon 4:30 PM, went West to 70 feet of water. Forgot the night crawlers, so ran crank baits. Only 1 eye, 22 incher on a blue Renosky, 5 colors lead core off planer board, 2 mph. Marking lots of suspended fish. I sure I could have come up with 3 or 4 eyes if I had ran worm harness at slower speed. Quit fishing at 9pm. Beautiful way to spend the evening, lake was flat wth a small ripple.

Whats it look like by drifting in 70 ft of water? I they at the bottom or are they all suspended now, will be out there this Saturday 19th
Looking for pointers out of sturgen point

I'm not a drifter, I only troll.
I'll be on the Lake at Sturgeon Saturday 19th in the morning.

I'll ley you know how we are doing and where we are.

I went out Fri. 8:00 am - west / north west 3 + miles to 52 ft. of water trolled east with the waves past the point. No eyes on worm harnesses. Switched to renowski's picked up 2 bass in a few minutes. How far did you go west?

Go due West until you hit 70 feet of water, maybe 2 miles from international line.
