I know the wharf is about 40 bucks. The wife and i went out with them 2 weeks ago when they started. Saw some nice fish caught, all i could get was one 16 incher. I gave it to a guy who didnt catch any and it made his day! Of 3 trips that i have taken with them i have caught 1 walleye, 2 smallmouth and probly 20 sheep. Seems like i never hit it on the right day. I've heard of them getting over a hundred walleye before.

Depending on the wind, south is worst which can be good for the lake you could drive over and fish the detroit river as another choice. Lots of fish being taken even on windy days. google michigan sportsman Detroit River and Lake Erie forums.

How far is it from port clinton to the detroit river? How about the maumee or sandusky rivers? Looks like tomorrow is gunna be a no go for the lake.

PC to Escourse Rd in Detroit. 1:45. Maumee River 1 hour. Sandusky River in Fremont :30 min.

Nice, we should be able to find something to do then. Should be interesting I've never been to any of the rivers to fish. Thanks for the help i will post pics and reports.
