Started from dock at 1 with just 2 of us and watched the eclipse and fished east side of Kelly's in 41 fow starting around 2. We never moved. Crappie rig no bling with goldies, spreader with bling did little. Slow steady pick, but nice size through the eclipse, then just after around 330 it started picking up. A big storm brushed by just south of us, wind picked up a little and it was up and down for a while with several doubles. It started to slow a little but finished our 60 at 7:00. No throwbacks 8 inch smallest, most 9-10 several 11, 1- 16" walleye threw back, quite a few white perch. I don't if the eclipse had anything to do with it, but after a couple of slow trips recently, this is one we will remember. What a great day!
