Fish and Water Depth 3 weeks ago a now.

My experiences:

3 weeks ago and for two weeks before that limited drifting and trolling in 33 feet of water. Then the bite quit and only shorts could be caught at that depth.

Friday and Monday of this last weekend caught 5 and 7 keepers in a short time (trolling high and 20' down) with only shorts coming out of the deeper water. We did well in the 33' of water ENE of Niagara Reef last year, but had to go into the shallower water to find keepers this past week.

What is everyone else experiencing?

Thant is what we found yesterday over at East Harbor at the Beach. Just when you think you are getting too close to the rocks at the breakaway, is where you would catch decent size walleye, and sheephead and some monster catfish too.

You were drifting for walleye that close to the break wall? what depth. I am going tottery the shallow water tomorrow with the west wind. 95% shorts out further.

Over by the beach outside the rock walls, we were in 17 feet of water.
