WE headed out of West Harbor at 11:30 and saw two Tibbles boats along with about three other charters casting by the green can which is Middle Harbor Shoal I believe. We started catching small walleye right away. The Tibbles boats never varied far from the green can. We on the other hand drifted close to the beach in 17 Ft of water near to the rock break walls in front of East Harbor St park beach. When the wind died, we tried trolling Reef Runners with no luck. We went back to casting. WE caught four decent fish very close to the beach and those rock breakaways. We caught all kinds of aggressive small fish by the green can. Not sure how the charters could stay there most of the day as so many shorties in there, but the charters stayed. Fun day close to shore.
