My son and I set up North of Kellys this morning about 8:45 with many marks on the screen and about 30 boats in the area. There was a nice SW breeze so we just casted. Started catching fish right away, but they were small fish. There was a boat next to us who was catching fish too and he says to me. "let me guess, 13 inch long?" WE had fish all morning and afternoon, but most were under 13" fish. I thought for sure from the marks and the huge pile of boats that the spot attracted, there would be some keepers to be had. Plenty of mayflies floating on the surface. I guess it is true what someone on the forum suspected, all those little fish will want to eat with Mayflies present or not. Went home with a little sunburn on a beautiful day on the lake.
