About 2 miles NNE of the mouth was our location I would say. The jet express was running about 1/4 of a mile west of us. And the rest of the pack was fishing just west of the jet express route.

I can't say how they have been doing but Friday 2 of them were fishing with us outside the portage. 1 went east of PIB, other went out to D can area. I would try that area outside the portage, 6 to 1...

I gave them a stern warning to stick around before I left. 2 guys, finished with 45 perch. Best size I have gotten in over 5 years. We got 13 perch over 11 inches. Best of luck!

Very nice quality of fish right now in the pack outside the portage river. Not crazy fast action but entry of 10's and 11's and and very few throwbacks. 17 FOW
