Lowrance/Eagle
I will never buy another Lowrance/Eagle product. The screen on my Eagle 640C went bad. I thought no problem. I can replace it. Lowrance said they do not support parts or service on any product over 3 years old! After 3 years you can not even buy replacement parts! That is crazy! What kind of company pulls all the spare parts inventory after 3 years and forces you to buy new? Certainly not a very reputable one!

I agree. Went through a similar situation with Lowrance. Had a global map/sonar in which I had to "update" my original external Antennae two years ago after they decided to stop the LC2000 functions. No problem, Got the Updated LC4000 two years ago. Turn unit on this year and again the GPS cannot find satellites. Turns out they stopped the use of that antennae as well. They told me i have to buy another $200 something antennae plus an adapter. I told them it was ridiculous to have a new antennae every 2 years in order for the unit to work and this would be my 3rd antennae in 8 years. No response back from them. I will no longer be buying any of their products.
