very slow pick but got limit 2 guys 60 fish bigger fish west of west sister 2-3 miles on spreaders no bling had to let sit in mud very light bite lots of sheephead few rockbass and white bass and white perch. calm day wind out of east kept 8 -11 inches but mostly 9-10 inch fish. left dock at 7 back at 1
You did better than we did yesterday (Tues). Same area, a little more NW of West Sister, Half of a 3 man limit... 3 guys from 8-2:30, 45 fish. Was real slow, same thing, almost a non existent bite, not even that tiny heaviness of the tip that you normally could see to anticipate setting the hook. Needed ESP.
Went out yesterday morn. North of West Sister. Fished less than 15 min. when my Cousin got an emergency phone call and headed back in. All turned out OK and we went back out this afternoon Northwest of island. Slow bite,not much size. Quit after 3 hrs with 26 fish 7 lbs. Lots of Sheep and whites. Checked winds before goin se at 4, when we got there it was ne at 12. Burned again.
we been fishing nortwest of island for 3 weeks with limits everyday but went to same numbers tuesday and fished from 8 - 11.30 and only had 8 perch we picked up and moved 2 miles west of island and had limit by 2. 2 guys 16 pounds. we went back to same place wendsday and got limit 2 guys 19 pounds keep bait in mud and no bling got a few doubles but slow pick if you moved it out of mud no bites let it go to bottom and sit for 5 seconds then pick it up to just get your sinker off bottom and bait in mud we use spreaders
