Had an awesome day casting for walleye 1-2 miles west/southwest of Green Island. 3 guys, 18 walleye, took us about 4 hours to get our limit. Gold weapons accounted for 13/18 fish. 4 on chartreuse weight forward, 1 on bottom bouncer. Fish were high, about a 6-8 count most of the morning. Thank you Capt Jim for your tip about casters doing well SW of green.
Two of us caught seven off d can on believe it or not gold nuggets all casting threw many back just undersized good eaters all seven lots of cats white perch and a few sheephead good day overall
I believe it. We got 15 yesterday all on Erie Dearie and Parish Bananna's weight forwards.... couldn't buy a fish on a weapon or harness...go figure
