Another good day for the crew. A two man limit. 12 fish. It was a slow start then pick up then things started popping. What a beautiful day out there. I went to Anchor Wheels secret spot - but there were also about 100 boats there. I hope the fish stay there for a while.
I believe the fish are out there all over. From Buffalo to Sturgeon Pt. to the Cat. to Dunkirk and beyond.

Took the trip to Dunkirk yesterday got 8 out of 10 with a few 6-7 pounders. Found them in 105-115 FOW in front of the stacks. Most fish were deep, 65' on dipseys/harnesses. I wish I could have released a few more but the air bladders were popping. First time out this way was a sucess! Thanks for sharing everyone!

My wife and her sisters were going through old family pictures, and came across this. (No further info on who where or when)

When the cold winds blow and we're covered up in snow,
I’ll be on the ice a' Fishin’, down through a hole.
When the ice goes out and the days get hot
I’ll be out there a fishin’, in the same damn spot.

Went Friday out of Barcelona, finished with 14 at 7 pm. got them on everything. got them on Dipsys, planner boards, and down riggers. got one nice one on a spoon also. Purple and watermelon were our colors. Also landed 7 lakers on Dream Weaver spoons (monkey puke and blue dolphin). Saturday we went out of Dunkirk and landed three with in an hour then no more walleye, all lakers. got 6 more of those on Saturday.

We went out of a tranquil Sturgeon Point Marina today. That changed - with that light and variable south east wind. We got out about 6 miles to the N W and things were rolling. There were a few others out there. Not many. The smart ones stayed home. It doesn't look good for the next few days. Wind, rain, thunderstorms etc. We ended up with 11 walleye, 3 sliver bass and one huge sheephead. I heard someone on the radio say he was heading in. He was sick of getting beat up.
